About this job
Your tasks will be to train and coach first and second year students in their personal and professional development, this is the main goal of the course. You will empower students to be successful in their studies. You will coach and assess students on their international placement, and you will be a tutor and assessor for projects.
In this position as trainer/study coach you need to be able to deal with a variety of different tasks and projects. You have an empathic attitude and are able to organize your work well, so you have to be people and goal focused. You are able to work in a team and you should be able to guide and inspire students in an international environment.
What do we offer?
- The salary for this position amounts to a monthly minimum of € 3,018.49 and a monthly maximum of € 4,158,87 (gross amounts based on full-time employment);
- This position is classified as scale 9 of the CAO HBO (collective labour agreement). Your official job title will be that of Tutor;
- This position involves a one-year employment contract with the possibility of conversion into an indefinite employment contract;
- Your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed when you travel by public transport;
- You will receive compensation for health insurance;
- You will receive a 13th month payment in December and an 8% holiday allowance in May;
- You will also be awarded professional development hours every year and almost eleven weeks of holiday entitlements in a full-time position;
- You will be working at our modern, sustainable and high-tech campus within a vibrant, creative and dynamic environment;
What do we ask of you?
- You have a relevant bachelor degree;
- You have experience in either the hospitality or facility industry;
- You have teaching experience in higher professional education or the willingness to develop this;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English), interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.;
- Familiarity with modern (higher) education could be to your advantage;
- A personality test can be part of the procedure.
