Your role will be to train BUas staff members in both AI fundamentals and advanced AI. As part of a team of four AI trainers, you will deliver training sessions across all skill levels. While the foundation of these training sessions has been established, your presentation skills and ability to translate concepts into BUas-specific examples will personalise these sessions and make them more relevant to the participants.
As a trainer, you will need to effectively deal with a wide range of queries from different academies and services, and accommodate users with varying levels of AI proficiency. As well as delivering existing training content, you will be actively involved in the development of new training materials and courses to meet evolving needs. Your expertise will help shape the AI learning journey of staff members across the organisation, from introductory concepts to advanced applications.
What do we offer?
- The salary for this position amounts to a monthly minimum of €3,311.92 and a monthly maximum of €4,376.46 (gross amounts based on full-time employment);
- This position is classified in scale 8 of the cao-hbo (collective labour agreement). Your official job title will be Instructor;
- This position involves a one-year employment contract with the possibility of conversion into an indefinite employment contract;
- Your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed when you travel by public transport;
- You will receive a contribution towards your health insurance costs;
- You will receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% in December and an annual holiday allowance of 8% in May;
- You will also be awarded professional development hours every year and almost 11 weeks of holiday entitlements in a full-time position;

What do we ask of you?
- You have experience and affinity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLM);
- You have teaching experience in higher professional education or are willing to obtain a didactics certificate;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (and preferably also in Dutch) are required to interact with all BUas staff from different academies and services;
- Familiarity with modern (higher) education could be to your advantage.
