As a Lecturer-Researcher at Fontys Engineering, you play a crucial role in developing new teaching materials at Master’s level, supervising and assessing students in their research projects and conducting research in the lectorates within the high tech/semicon/precision engineering sector, for example the Systems Design and Realization lectorate. You play an essential role in developing the skills and knowledge of students, so that they are ready to contribute to the future of the microchip sector. In this position, you will be close to master’s students, part-time students and colleagues and you will work intensively with companies in the Brainport region Eindhoven through research.

This is how you make an impact
- You have a background in high tech/semicon/mechanics or mechanical engineering (Precision Engineering);
- You have at least a master's degree, preferably a PhD;
- You are proficient in English and Dutch. If you do not master Dutch, you are willing to learn it;
- You have a passion for working with and supervising students;
- You can establish and maintain contacts with companies and other research institutions;
- You have a curious and investigative attitude;
- Presence (partly) on location is mandatory!
Employment conditions
If you choose Fontys, you will naturally also choose very nice primary and secondary terms of employment and an appropriate salary. A sample of what we have to offer:
- Salary in schaal 12 (min € 5.486,79 - max € 7.175,82)
- 8% holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.3%
- Employment: Tijdelijk
- around 50 days off (including public holidays)
- You make annual result and development agreements with your manager, where there is plenty of room and facilities to make the best use of your talents and develop further.
