Lecturer International Business – Marketing and Sales

In the Bachelor programme International Business (IB) we are passionate in preparing our students in the best way for the real business world. To do so successfully in the ever-changing and challenging international environment, we need to continuously develop, innovate and strengthen our education program. As part of our strategic effort in further curriculum advancement, we are looking for a lecturer Marketing who has most recent marketing and sales experience in the business fields including digital marketing, which we view as one of the important pillars for our program. Would you be interested in joining us in this development journey? 

What exactly will you do?  

• Carry out teaching duties in the key domains of Marketing in the International Business Program;  
• Contribute to the development and advancement of materials for Marketing related modules;  
• Integrate new developments in the field of marketing into our marketing program; 
• Guide students in their development both with regard to Marketing and in their academic journey 
• Coordinate at least one module of the Marketing curriculum 
• Coach students with their practical business-related assignments, projects and internships.

What you also need for the position:

• A relevant Master’s degree;   
• A minimum of 7 years of work experience in Marketing, within which sales experience and digital marketing is evidential; preferably also currently working in the field 
• Holistic contemporary knowledge and practical experience in applying digital tools in different marketing areas along the customer journey;  
• Experience in both B2C and B2B is a plus;  
• A relevant (international) network of business contacts;  
• An excellent command of written and spoken English and Dutch;    
• Passion for teaching and guiding students in a competence-oriented international educational setting.

• stimulate and motivate students in their personal and professional development, in line with the educational goals set in the programme; 
• contribute to a collaborative teaching environment in which you seek and offer support to students and colleagues; 
• team work, especially working and communicating within an international and multi-disciplined team;

First and foremost, it's important that you are able to enjoy your work. In addition, we offer you:

• An appointment for one year (D4) for 0.8 fte, 32 hours a week, with the possibility of an extension. 
• A salary of up to € 6.359,47 gross per month (scale 11) for a full-time work week; 
• 8% vacation allowance
• Guaranteed end-of-year pay of 8,3%
• An extensive leave arrangement
• The choice between an NS Business card (2nd class) for your commutes or a kilometer based compensation.
