Student Administration Employee, 24 hours per week

 

 

About DAE

Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) is one of the world’s leading design schools, recognized internationally for its forward-thinking and renowned professors and alumni. About the team

The Student Administration is a service-oriented department. The Coordinator Student Administration manages two Student Administration Employees and a Functional Administrator Student Applications. The department focuses on the inflow, through-flow, and outflow of students and all related administrative processes, such as handling applications, checking student data, preparing certificates, requesting residence permits for students, and much more! It is particularly important that in the student administration department colleagues support each other and work together. Development is key within the department. The team is currently working on all-around deployment. Everyone is familiar with all processes, facilitating the performance of each other’s tasks and efficiency improvement.


What will you be doing

Your job is all about running the student administration. You provide students with information on rules and regulations and assist them in completing forms and requesting residence permits. Data entry is a significant part of the job too.  You will be in contact with students and team up with your colleagues at the educational desk. In brief, you are the spider in the web. Never a dull moment in this position! Our team strives for continual development, so you will be expected to think proactively about process improvements. We are an open, transparent team where giving and receiving feedback is part of our daily job.

Our desired Student Administration Employee is a customer-friendly colleague with a talent for administration. The dynamic within the organisation and the diversity of the work requires you to be flexible and be able to handle stressful situations. You are able to reflect on your own development and initiate possible improvements both for the content of your job as for the team itself

 

To be successful in this job, you will also need to have:

  • Minimum MBO-4 (secondary vocational) intellectual and working level;
  • At least 2 years of Relevant and proven experience in a similar position;
  • A critical and pro-active approach;
  • Good communicative skills, with excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations;

Knowledge of digital systems like Osiris is a plus. 

Our offer

We are offering you a challenging position in an international and dynamic working environment. This concerns a part-time position for 24 hours a week. Salary indication within the bandwidth of minimum € 2,001,- and maximum € 2,791,- gross a month for full-time employment (scale 6). Employment terms are in line with the collective labour agreement CAO-HBO, including holiday pay of 8% and an 8.3% year-end bonus. You will be offered a temporary contract for the duration of one year with the possibility of an extension.
