Functie-inhoud

In this lecturer’s position in our International Business (IB) programme, you will teach subjects including Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Research and Economics. An important dimension of this position is that you will deliver interactive practical workshops. In these workshops you share the knowledge and experience you gained in the international business world with your students. As students work to apply the knowledge they gain during the course, you will assess, guide and coach them, in order to facilitate integration of theoretical and practical skills in business related research projects.

Your profile
We want you to become successful in this position. When reading through your resume, we would like to read that you have/are:

  • A relevant Master’s degree;
  • Several years of work experience in an international, professional environment;
  • Business fluent in English (level C1);.
  • Experience in / passion for teaching and guiding students in a competence oriented international educational setting;
  • Ability to inspire and motivate (groups of) students;
  • Flexibility and learning attitude;
  • Enthusiastic team player;
  • Experience in developing innovative courses;
  • Experience in big data and data analytics is an advantage.

What we offer

About the programme 
International Business (IB) at the Hague University of Applied Sciences is a well-established undergraduate degree program which prepares students to become versatile professionals in disciplines such as Marketing & Sales, Finance & Accounting, People & Organisation and Operations & Supply Chain Management. Graduates of the programme get a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. With 25 years of teaching and learning to draw from, over 1200 students from over 40 nationalities, and an international staff, the program truly offers a diverse work environment.
