Functie-inhoud

Do you know how to inspire and motivate students to develop to communication professionals? Are you entrepreneurial, widely applicable and a team player? Then we are looking for you!

 What exactly will you do?
As a lecturer you carry out innovative education over the breadth of the field of communication. Your (online) classes are interesting and relevant, because you use current trends and developments. Thanks to the various perspectives your experience brings, you know how to interest students and develop their competence in line with the expectations of the professional field. With your entrepreneurial attitude and fresh view you help to develop the curriculum and connect to the professional field.

You coach students in their graduation assignments, internship and projects and carry out education in for instance public communication or digital communication. You stimulate students to be curious and develop an investigative attitude. This enables students to connect different worlds as future communication professionals. That is maybe the most appealing reason to become a lecturer in our programme.

Your profile
We want you to be successful as a lecturer in this position. We look forward to read more about your experience. Furthermore we would like to see in your resume that you have:

  • a relevant Master's degree;
  • a proficiency in English (a proficiency in Dutch would be an advantage, but isn’t mandatory);
  • a clear interest and demonstrable expertise in teaching and/or professional experience in the field;
  • obtained, or be willing to obtain, a teaching qualification (BDB).

 What we offer

  • An appointment of 1 FTE, 40 hours for a period of one year, starting February 2023. Extension of the appointment depends on the organizational, educational and financial conditions;
  • Asalary between € 3.881,09 and € 5.332,48 gross per month (lecturer - scale 11) for a full-time work week;
  • 8% holiday pay;
  • A guaranteed end of year pay of 8.3%;
