You will be a part of the IT & Logistics department in AMSIB. The department comprises fifteen lecturers and professors, forming a collaborative and ambitious team. We design and deliver modules for the International Business and Global Sustainable Business Management programmes, including international supply chain management, technology and innovation, and enterprise resource planning. Start in February 2024.

Here's how you will make a difference

You will teach business processes-related modules at the undergraduate (and, if applicable, graduate) levels using SAP S/4HANA.

Supervise bachelor (and, if applicable, master) theses.

Contribute to undergraduate and graduate curriculum development in (global) operations and business processes.

Develop and maintain an international academic and professional network in global supply chain management and business processes.
-
Stay up to date at the forefront of knowledge, technological developments and trends in ERP, analytics, operations, and related fields and know how to translate this to a diverse student body and faculty.

Act as an engaged and collegial team member and contribute proactively to the department and School's development and international visibility.
No education experience? No problem!
You will be assigned a buddy and get an onboarding programme (6-18 months) that is fully tailored to your needs. You will start by shadowing more experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to obtain your certificate of adequate pedagogic preparation. A gross monthly salary between €4,234.28 and €5,936.77 (scale 11 of the higher education collective labour agreement).

What you bring to the table

A master's degree in business administration, operations, supply chain or a related subject area; a doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) is desirable.

Industry experience in an international business environment with SAP S/4HANA and integrated planning and execution of purchasing, logistics, financial, IT, marketing and HRM processes.

Eagerness to participate in the process customisations and new implementation projects in SAP S/4HANA.

Experience in applying data analytics to solve business problems.

Excellent communication skills in English (minimum requirement IELTS 7.0 / CE1); preference is given to native speakers.
