General Function Description
Provide English language instruction mainly in Housekeeping but also in Front Office skills to Hotelschool students;
Assist students when applying their hospitality knowledge and skills in practice;
Support students in their role of residents of the Skotel;
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Skotel, with regard to both administrative and management tasks.

The Skotel is Hotelschool The Hague’s training and study hotel and is the students’ hall of residence for their first year at the Hotelschool. Additionally, the Skotel functions as a commercial hotel, offering a number of rooms to guests from outside the school.
The school community is international; both staff and students come from all over the world; the programme is taught completely in English. Hotelschool The Hague has built up an excellent reputation over the last 85 years, the result of the structured educational programme and the experience and quality of our staff, lecturers and instructors.
A Bachelor degree;
Several years of experience in Hotel Housekeeping, preferably in management roles;
Good communicative and didactic skills;
Excellent verbal and written command of both Dutch and English;
Experience in supervising students;
Willing to work irregular hours;
Affinity with the hospitality sector and education.
Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary in scale 8 depending on your professional experience and qualifications. Hotelschool The Hague offers an excellent remuneration package including:
a 13th month;
employees with 40 hour working weeks are entitled to 428 hours (53 days) of leave with retention of salary per calendar year;
a retirement pension through ABP;
excellent opportunities for further education;
the possibility to participate in collective (health) insurance.
