Tasks will include but not necessarily be limited to:
Creating content for Social Media;
Monitoring comments and feedback on Social Media;
Managing content for the website and blog;
Analysing and optimising of our online channels;
Creative photography of students, faculty, staff and events;
Conducting interviews with students, staff and alumni;
Co-development of digital campaigns;
Executing the production of brochures, flyers, mailings;
Executing research (competition/marketing data);
Writing reports on events and school activities;
House style check;
Quality care (satisfaction surveys/evaluations);
Producing (alumni) newsletters;
Information requests and all day-to-day tasks.

As of September 2017, we are offering an exciting internship at the Strategic Marketing and Communication Department for a period of at least 5 months. You will get the opportunity to further develop yourself and to participate in an enthusiastic and professional team of young people. A lot of room for independency is offered.
The Strategic Marketing & Communication Department loves to build an international brand both on- and offline, creates a strong global community of students, alumni and industry, recruits the best students and tells our story both to our internal and external stakeholders. Digital Marketing contributes to our department’s ambitions and that is why we need you!
A 2nd, 3rd or 4th year HBO student of Marketing/Communication/Media/Entertainment or Business related studies;
A hands-on mentality and a great eye for detail;
Inquisitive, positive and ambitious;
A proactive and service-minded attitude;
Ability to work well independently, and as part of a team;
An excellent command of English, both written and oral;
A representative and business-like appearance in conformity with Hotelschool The Hague guidelines;
Excellent computer skills such as Excel, Power Point, etc.;
Experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Pro CC is an advantage;
Affinity with, and interest in the Hospitality industry.
Period Minimum of 5 months
No of days: 5 days a week
Hours: 08:30 to 17:00 or 09:00 to 17:30
Duties: Project(s) and variable range of duties
Training: Opportunity to attend supervision sessions, placement days and write a work placement report
Placement allowance: HBO: € 350,- pre-tax per month, full-time
You will work at both our Amsterdam and The Hague Campus (2-3 days per campus).
