You will be delivering education through training sessions, workshops and project groups. You will be developing educational material and guiding students both individually and in groups. Furthermore we expect you to deliver an active contribution to the development of the knowledge-domain within the curriculum. You will be required to teach both in the Dutch and English tracks at all levels.

You have an academic level of thinking and working with a relevant completed education and a first grade teaching qualification. You have working experience on a higher educational level. You are either experienced with or have affinity with working in an international / intercultural context (preferably) in the Leisure industry. You are familiar with ICT and its application in education, using the electronically learning environment, and you are motivated to use these methods intensively. Also you are familiar with modern educational views within the higher education.
NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences provides assistance to guide expatriate employees through the process of relocation and settling in. Dutch tax authorities may offer tax reduction to applicants from abroad (which makes tax rates comparable to the UK and US).
The salary for this position will be at level X of the CAO-HBO (Collective Labour Agreement), earning in between a monthly minimum of € 3,392.46 and a maximum of € 4,661.12 gross (full-time). You will be officially appointed in the function of Lecturer. You will receive a fixed annual benefit of 8.3%. Apart from this, NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences offers you an 8% holiday allowance and a compensation for your health insurance. With a full-time position and a working pattern of 40 hours per week you are entitled to 10.7 weeks of holiday leave (including public holidays).
